Peet's beats Starbucks by a long shot of espresso. The quality of the coffee can't be beat, and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The baked goods are divine. Employees can help you select the right beans to take home too. …

If you are tired of Starbucks (and I know you are), you have to try Peets. Great coffee, very strong. Also a great place to buy whole bean coffee. Recommend the Sulawesi or Sumatra.
